The Tesla Model 3, one of the world’s best-selling electric cars alongside the Model Y, is already attracting users with its competitive price. However, Elon Musk has another special plan for the Mexican market. A new, more affordable package, which we hope will eventually come to Turkey, is set to be released soon.
Affordable Tesla Model 3 Coming to Mexico!
This package features a minimalist interior and comes with semi-fabric seats. It lacks heated steering and seats, and there’s no rear entertainment screen. The range has been reduced, and the ambient lighting is limited to white only. Additionally, the soundproof glass system is used only at the front.
The affordable package will be single-motor. As expected, its range will be slightly reduced to 438 km. However, there is no loss in performance, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 6.1 seconds.
In Germany, the base Model 3 offers a range of 513 km and is priced at €42,490. The vehicle specifically produced for the Mexican market will cost €36,400, making it €6,000 cheaper. Note that many countries face additional taxes and challenges for electric vehicles produced in China.
